*waves* hey hey. what a pretty icon :D
ooooh 2 of mine! you kept 'em all this time?! chuffed is not the word :Dm both all this time?! chuffed ain't the word :D
oh my lord george is bootiful in that one. did i make that? i am a genius. ;)
*hugs* how have you been?
Great thank you! I keep getting distracted by your icon :)
It is! I shamefully have to admit that I haven't watched anything with him in for ages.
Is that Carlos?! mmm. check us out with the fit icons. i only watch robin hood for mr armitage.
It is - doing the patented Carlos pout :). Have you seen the Dead Ringers version of Robin Hood? It's far too good. I blame North and South for my Armitage fancying.
see i do get why people fancied RA in North and South but I have say I didn't start finding him sexy til Robin Hood. It is my perpetual weakness for the bad guy. 'specially ones who are scruffy and stubbly and dirty and dark haired. hmmm.
I haven't seen the dead ringer version- i'll start to hunt youtube.
carlos pout. what d'ya think of the new hair?
that's hiliarious- love the bit with theplace captions with the "hurt" feelings... teee hee!
george..... at shea stadium?
Brilliant, isn't it?
It is! I've been meaning to watch the Anthology again - such a good series.
*pets your icon*
good ol' keef. Ooh Ian Hart! I met him recently- at the Latitude festival. I was performing as part of a comedy group called The Book Club and he was doing some readings on the same stage so everybody was just hanging out in the tiny backstage tent! he was very nice. then James Franco turned up and it all went very wierd.... oh the glamour.
gotta watch backbeat... yes.
You're very rock and roll you know!
Backbeat is a brilliant movie and the first thing I ever saw Ian Hart in.
me too! then the next thing i saw him in was the first harry potter movie. surreal to see john lennon in a turban, if anything ;)
I also saw Dylan at Latitude. He lit my cigarette for me and remembered me from a previous time i'd met him. the silver tongued devil.
my life really idn't very rock 'n roll at all. sounds much more exciting than it actually is. lol ;)
Good to see you here, hope you're well :)
I'm alright fanks- how YOU doing?
I'm good thanks, same old same old. :)
how are you feeling these days? hope there's been improvement since I last "spoke" to you? x
Health wise I'm still the same, but I'm looking into some volunteer work for the local Hearing Dogs centre. How about you?
that's great- about the voluntary work. i'm still feeling shitty but am forcing myself to do stuff. not sure if it's the right approach but the other way of resting up didn't seem to work either so... hearing dog centre- that sounds really interesting- my brother is blind and i keep on at him to get a guide dog but he won't. shucks. ;)
I understand, it's just so frustrating when nothing seems to help.
Maybe you could see if there's a guide dog centre near you, that way you could volunteer and have something to do with your time, and your brother may warm to the idea. :)
Hi Lou! Lovely to see you around here again!
I was just thinking about you and our trip to Windsor to see MS - it was two years ago last weekend, believe it or not! Time flies, dunnit?
2 years?! bloody hell! What a trip that was.... i was watching "Dotor in the House" the other day with ol' Marty playing a hyeractive welshman- best thing in it by far.
how are you doing? what you been up to?
Yeah, I've been watching DitH recently too and MS is *definitely* the best thing in it. Been watching The Chief for the first time this week and MS is seriously gorgeous in that...
What have I been up to? Well, the biggest thing that's happened is that I'm now a grandma! We've got a beautiful granddaughter named Izzy who'll be 9 months old tomorrow. Packed up my job in the theatre a few months back to look after her when her mum went back to work, so life's pretty hectic!
Looking forward to hearing about all your celeb-hobknobbing *g*. How have you been keeping lately?
ha ha, loving the icon!
DitH is very strange. it's amazing how the sitcom has both improved and yet in some ways remained remarkably the same. haven't seen The Chief- is that a fairly recent MS outing?
CONGRATULATIONS on Izzy! what wonderful news :D! are you enjoying being granny? bet she's spoilt rotten?! xx
I'm loving being a granny - and I try not to spoil her rotten, but I think I'm fighting a losing battle... *g*
Yeah, sometimes DitH is excruciating (when Mart's not in the scene, naturally) but then you see stuff today that makes you cringe just as much. The Chief was a show that MS did 12-13 years ago, but I'm only just catching up with it. His character's very Doyle-like IMHO - just like our Raymond but a bit more grown up! I'm really enjoying watching it.
Fucking hell, where did you get that icon?? It's gorgeous! (sorry Lou for hijacking your LJ lol)
Can't take the credit for it, unfortunately. It was made by diegina
. Good, innit?
Lou!! You are missed on mtf :(
oooh. :( the forums keep crashing my computer! too much testosterone there. i miss jcf. what is he up to at the moment? how are you my dear?
The forums are horrible these days lol, so many problems with the serer. Jcf did very well at Wimbledon, reached the quarters, but you might have seen that ;) This week he's playing in Vienna, he's in the QF after beating Cañas and Bennetteau.
I'm alright, busy though :(
How the devil are you? You rock n roll chick you. How's life keeping you? Has it improved any?? (crosses fingers it has).
I'm dead curious as to who you've met and who were arses.
I'm alright- surviving 'n all that. How are you? What's the gossip????
Heheh, actually, most of the guys I'm working with are fine, nice even, just the occasional wanker.
:::HUGS::: So nice to see you again!
hello you! Hows life? What you been up to- any gossip? See you're still loving the blue eyed boy ;)
Yeah, still in love with Tommy-boy... But others have come and gone as well. I'm currently in the thick of a Patrick McGoohan binge.
Nothing huge to report - I'm always busy, have attended lots of conventions (met up with a lot of Pros folks at Zebracon recently,) my brother's going to get married and my step-sister had a baby (first grandchild.)
Oh, I officially became a stalker the other day when I bought a piece of clothing that John Castle wore. ;-)
hey sweetie1 it is really good to see you back! hope everything is going ok with you - have been stalking your pictures on facebook, looks like youre having fun :)
except then men thing lol
bloody men. as usual, mostly my own fault. i have also been stalking your photos on facebook. your pink jeans are, like, totally groovy :D
oh arent they!? thanks :)
but I disagree, when it come to men... its always their fault.
